Change of Date!!!
(Per so many of your requests regarding Rosh Hashanah a & Yom Kippur dates & that so many MCPS schools have extended their distribution dates
to much later in September, we have moved our start date.)
FALL SEMESTER BEGINS SEPTEMBER 20th!
All of the class descriptions have been updated with the correct class information regarding class times, days and fees. Go to Classes/Class Descriptions to find the perfect class for your family, then go to Schedule to check out which classes have openings.
New for 2010/11:
- Earlier "Imagine That !" class offerings
- Earlier "Glockenspiel Class" class offerings
- Basic Guitar Skills component added as standard to all keyboard classes
- Cynthia's Cello Studio is open again for beginning & intermediate students of all ages. In the past we did have a very popular and successful cello choir for children and for adults (30 adults! making beautiful cello music).
- Academic year extended - now 32 weeks (as so many of you have requested).
Reminder: 1. The best mode of communication is still via email: thecenterformusic@comcast.net. I realize that is sometimes not as satisfying as a phone conversation but our office staff is very limited.
2. A free class trial is always available. We really want you to see and experience a real live class. Just let us know (via email) when you would like to visit. 3. All classes are held at our location at 5221 River Road, Bethesda MD 20816 in the Security Public Storage Building Complex. Turn into the lane with the big YELLOW//RED Security Public Storage sign (opposite the McDonalds) & drive slowly, 5PMH (there are cameras) all the way to the parking just before the big iron gate. Look for the flags and banners on your left. There we are!
