Adult participation: 100% the entire class
Materials: Each semester your child (or family) will receive a different set of two CD’s with accompanying songbook and an age appropriate rhythm instrument.
Sibling policy: Siblings (of appropriate age) may join the class at a discounted price (see Cost information). Other siblings are welcome to a ONE time guest visit pass per semester. If a sibling must come again due to unavoidable circumstances, there is a $15.00 charge per visit.

This class is a most beloved, special time of the week for parent and child, parents and children, and all of the different kinds of family combinations. This time of the busy work week is reserved and dedicated to an hour of fun in singing, dancing, whirling with your child, playing all the kinds of instruments in our famous "Jam Sessions" with the focus entirely on your family.
Using the wonderful song collections from Music Together , we continue on our development journey towards basic musical competence (always remembering that the adventure is a process not a performance).
It is the 100% ACTIVE participation of the accompanying adult, be it the parent, grandparent, caregiver, whomever, that provides the positive all engaging model for the children.
Music is a basic life skill. Musical play is the means for establishing the musical foundation for life. Activites include singing, chanting, finger plays, dancing, playing simple rhythm instruments and always our instrumental "Jam Sessions".
In today's world, most families are consumers of music and all the multi-media. This class is in response to the many requests from those who want to be active participants in their own musical experiences.
Please note that the class size is limited. Placement in a class is given upon a first-come, first-serve basis REGARDLESS of prior attendance in a class. Each class is 45 minutes, but do allow extra time for arrival, restroom visits and exit.
