Especially for summer, we will enjoy the fun of "Cockadoodle Moo" with babies, 1-11/12 months.
Classes are offered:
12:00 on Monday & Wednesday, & 11:30 onTuesday & Friday (or at other time that more of you would like)
Each class meets once a week for 45 minutes with babies and their accompanying parent or caregiver.
Students may make up any classes missed due to vacations.

Fees consist of $45.00 registration fee for new families, $15.00 for returning families, $50.00 materials cost and the remaining for tuition.
This Summer Song collection is #3. These songs are compilations of 3 "school year" song collections so we always get a wonderful mixture of songs, some that we might recognize, some old favorites and them some that will be a new discovery.

Confetti Days & Tell Me a Tale
For ages 3's and 4's, we have a fun summer camp- flavor program called "Confetti Days" with not only music, movement, dance, songs but also wonderful theme related arts and crafts activities.
For 4 year olds who have already done Confetti Days, we have a new class, Tell Me A Tale. Each class session is a different story with music, movement, imagination and a corresponding art project at sharing time.
Both classes are 60-70 minute classes in which the children meet with the teacher for 45 minutes a week. The parent or caregiver joins for "Sharing Time". the last 15-25 minutes, to share in the fun of creating works of art or dancing together.

Ned Redd: World Traveler
A Search-and-Find Adventure Plus
Pack your bags for a trip around the globe. Join Ned Redd and his dog, Bandana, as they travel around the world tracking down the sounds of Mexican firecrackers, dancing the Mexican hat dance, traveling through the Ohio on the Wabash Cannonball train, stopping by the Kentucky race track on the way to New York City and Broadway. After sailing to England-with a stop in Ireland, we will visit the continent of Europe with fun in France, Germany and Italy. The world class trip continues via Africa and Japan with a short visit in Australia on the way to the final destination in Hawaii. We will sing, dance, explore and enjoy special travel-related art projects along the way.
The students meet with the teacher the first 50 minutes and then the parent/caregiver joins the class for the very special "sharing time", the last 15-20 minutes for dancing or art projects.

This is an absolutely fabulous summer curriculum in which the students explore the culture and the community of a people through their music, songs, dances, stories and celebrations. The children will be singing and listening to songs, listening to and acting out stories and legends, listneing to and playing music, dancing to celebrate festivals, learning about the customs, food, dress, artifacts related to the specific country or theme. We will have note and rhythm card games and song sheets to explore. Students will also have the opportunity to make special art projects related to each country or theme.
The children will meet with the teacher the first 50/5 minutes and then the parent/caregiver joins the class for either a new dance or helping with the theme-related art project during the last 20/25 minutes.

Summer Instrumental Experience: guitar, cello, violin, recorder or keyboard for 7+ years Summer is the perfect time to try something "brand new". Whether the student is on the verge of turning 7 years old or older, the summer months are the best to try out a new discipline. No school homework to think about, no harried schedules to keep, just a good opportunity to experience the guitar, cello, violin, recorder or keyboard. Eight unhindered weeks to get a feel for a new instrument.
Students will need to have access to their own appropriately-sized instrument. Violin and cello students can rent an instrument. The recorder and guitar students can purchase an instrument through The Music Center. Keyboard students can use a piano at home if available or purchase a keyboard for minimal coat locally. Contact The Music Center for recommendations for instrument rental and keyboard purchase information.
The class meets once a week for 90 minutes. Parents are welcome to stay and observe or return for the last 20 minutes for a "sharing time".
Classes will take place at any day and time that can be agreed upon by all interested participants.New Family fee is $330.00 Returning Family fee is $300.00
